Tomas Kuprys, MD

Dr. Tomas Kuprys is a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon. He graduated from Northwestern University with a double major in computer engineering and economics. Prior to obtaining his medical degree with AOA honors at the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, he worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. He completed his internship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, orthopedic residency at the Loyola University Medical Center, and spine fellowship at the NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital in New York. He is trained in the non-operative and operative treatment of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine including minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques. His research interests include pre-operative bone quality assessment, minimally invasive fusion techniques, and augmented reality surgery.
